Hey there!

My name is Claire Ailts and I’m an award winning Graphic Designer based in Lexington, Kentucky. I have 6+ years of agency experience, working on design deliverables for a range of large brands. I spent 2 years locally at Zipie and most recently, 4 years remotely at GMR Marketing. I am passionate about advertising and creating strategic, effective solutions. Not only do I have s strong skillset in graphic design, but I have experience in videography, photography, animation, print, integrated campaigns, social media campaigns, branding, and event marketing.

On the personal side, I grew up in a small suburb of Chicago, IL and have since found a home in Lexington, KY. In my free time, I enjoy taking care of my retired eventing horse, Dollar. I also enjoy fitness, living a healthy lifestyle, and lifting weights at the gym. Since I was young, art and creative activities have been a passion of mine. Growing up, I was called "Monkeyman" by my peers as a nickname based on my maiden name, Monkman. I decided to adapt this as the name for my freelance business. I created Monkeyman Design as a way to show my talents in advertising & design.
